遂に噂の「WRATH OF TYRANT」Demoのデラックスバージョン登場！Ihsahn、Mortiis、Samothという布陣で作り上げた1992年のファーストデモ。後にWild Ragsが大きくディストリビュートし、世界中にブラックメタルの炎が燃え上がった起爆剤的一枚。
ボーナストラックとして1994年リリースの7"「AS THE SHADOWS RISE」、1992年のリハーサル、1994年のリハーサルを加え二枚組にて堂々再発。当然ですが今のEMPERORとは趣が異なるグリムで取りつかれたようなボーカル、得も言われぬメロディが渦巻く古典的名作。
