ノルウェーのシンフォニックブラックメタル MUNDANUS IMPERIUMの1997年デビューEP。圧倒的な美意識に基づいたシンフォニックで荘厳なバッキングが、ノルウェーらしく素晴らしい奥深いサウンドとなって襲い掛かるデビューEPにして好作！この後Nuclear Blastとサインして名作「The Spectral Spheres Coronation」（1998）を、ボーカルにヨルン・ランデを迎えてリリース。シンフォニックメタルになりました。（その後すぐ解散）　今回の再発に際し、完全未発表曲をボーナストラックとして収録。
