スイス・スラッシャー POLGERGEISTの1989年誉れ高きファーストアルバム。DESTRUCTIONのシュミーアのバックアップの元、録られたデモ「WRITING ON THE WALL」に続いて、そこに収録されていた大半の曲を自らの手で再構築、更にスピードと整合性を持たせた強靭なスラッシュサウンドとして詰め込んだ、POLTERGEISTを代表する衝撃のデビュー作。当時DESPAIRの自身のアルバムをリリースするためだけに、DESPAIRのヴォーカル Robert Kampfが作った「CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS」に友達のよしみで契約し、リリースにこぎつけたというのも微笑ましい話。今回のリマスターは、リーダーであるV.O.Pulverの手によります。
